15 July 2006- Filipino Tyson Sy fell prey to bad luck in the rain drenched rounds 6 and 7 of the Asian Formula 3 series held at the Zhuhai International Circuit. Sy, who did not score a point in round 6 found himself in the gravel trap as he attempted to get past Aran Racing’s Moreno Soeprapto.

Speedtech Asia team principal Edgen Dy-Liacco has confirmed its team drivers have finalized travel plans and are expected early this week at the Zhuhai International Circuit, in China for rounds six to nine of the 2006 Asian F3 Series over the coming weekend. The Asian F3 races are part of the ZIC-organized Pan Delta Super Racing Festival, known for its highly successful spectator attendance and live TV coverage over select stations within the mainland.

(17 June 2006) - Tyson Sy qualifies second for the first race of the Frestech Pan Delta Super Racing Festival at the Zhuhai International Circuit. Ali Jackson on pole and Dado Pena third. Gaby dela Merced was first in the Promotions class.

16 June 2006 - Speedtech Asia’s Tyson Sy has set the day’s fastest laptime with a 1 minute 35.966, three tenths quicker than Ali Jackson and Dado Pena in their best of Fridays’ two 30-minute sessions.

(07 May 06) Tyson Sy romped away to his third win of the weekend, with John O’Hara getting best of a fraught race for second. Satrio Hermanto won the Promotions Class.

Tyson Sy stuck to a plan that had worked twice to perfection, leaving behind a field fighting for second place and completing a hat-trick as the first leg of the 2006 Asian Formula Three Series ended Sunday at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

(07 May '06) Sy led the field away with John O'Hara storming through to second from the 5thy on the grid and was giving Sy a run for his money before he went off, permanently, at turn 5. This handed second place to Dillon Battisttini who led a four car train comprised of James Winslow, who had gone off on the first turn and worked his way back to third, Moreno Soerapto and Dado Pena. They finished in that order, despite lots of ducking and diving. Battisttini drove a faultless "defensive" race. Moreno was demoted to 7th place after receiving a time penalty for jumping start.

(06 May '06) John O’Hara stalled at the start, fellow front row occupant, Dado Pena all but stalled allowing Sy to take the lead and a relatively easy win from Dillon Battistini and James Winslow. Michele Bumgarner won the Promotions Class.

(May 06 '06) John O’Hara qualified on pole position for race one at the Batangas Race Circuit. His last lap was just quick enough to pip Dado Pena. Ali Jackson was third from Tyson Sy. Michele Bumgarner will start on pole for the Promotions Class.

(May 05 06) Tyson Sy was fastest of the day, setting his time in the first of the three sessions of the day. Dado Pena headed the timesheets in the other two sessions with John O’Hara third fastest of the day. Tomorrow, Saturday May 6th, will see qualifying and race one and it is brewing up nicely to be an extremely competitive day.

(4 May '06) Tyson Sy showed he will be the man to beat for the first round of the AF3 Series this weekend at the Batangas Race Circuit in the Philippines by topping the time sheets in today’s practice sessions.

(03 May '06) Tyson Sy set the pace today with a 1m: 27.8 lap just edging out James Winslow who timed 1m: 27.9. Next up was Dado Pena with 1m: 28.5 with Dillon Battistini just one tenth adrift.
